Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs

• New entrepreneurs who are firmly committed to setting up their own business, or whose new business is no more than three years old
• Experienced entrepreneurs who own or manage a small or medium-sized business in another participating country.

The general objective of Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is to promote the exchange of experience, mutual learning and networking of new entrepreneurs in the EU, working with an experienced entrepreneur in another EU Member State.
The specific program objectives are:

• On-the-job training for new entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in another country in the EU, to enable a successful start and the development of their business ideas
• Exchange of experience and information between entrepreneurs on the obstacles and challenges in setting up and developing their businesses
• Improving access to the market and searching for potential partners for newly established and already established businesses in other EU countries
• Networking through the use of knowledge and experience from other European countries

Subsidy

• for the travel and accommodation costs of the young entrepreneur
• for one to six months of collaboration with a mentor
